The newest update to the Native Instruments Maschine is finally upon us. Featuring VST/AU hosting, Maschine is quickly turing itself into a versatile stand-alone platform for producers, live artists, and creative musicians. The new VST/AU hosting feature allows you to use your favorite plug-ins within the Maschine environment. All supported by an effective parameter auto-mapping so you can begin working immediately without any prior midi-mapping. If you already have a Maschine I would recommend downloading the free update ASAP, followed quickly by locking yourself in your house/bedroom/office for an extended period of time. Be sure to watch NI’s Maschine 1.6 tutorial videos to save yourself a bit of headache and get to making that 808 crunk you always wanted as quickly as possible.
